War and Peace

War and peace is a novel written in Russia which was written by Leo Tolstoy. It is regarded as cental work of World literature and as one of his finest writings. IT spans areound 18O5 to 1820. For the next century the russians found it useful to understand the French.

The first half of the book was written under the name 1805

The book has 5 parts and the fifth part is an Epilogue which is divided into two parts.

Tolstoy was critical of standard as well as military History
